Land Use Change under Population Migration and Its Implications for Human–Land Relationship

With the rural-to-urban population migration under new era of rapid urbanization, China has experienced dramatic rural land change, especially change in cultivated and residential land, resulting serious uncoordinated human–land relationships areas. The efficient use these two kinds resources becomes one paramount challenges for governments to achieve sustainable balanced development. This challenge highlights need quantifying formation mechanism relationship between (RCR) exploring corresponding relation with RCR guide high-efficiency structure coordinated development relationships. study aims quantitatively characterize matching modes underlying via a grid-based, integrated decoupling model multiclass explainable boosting machine analysis method. findings are as follows: (1) variation is characterized by quantity match spatial mismatch. six strong (SD) (33.36%), weak (9.86%), recessive (4.15%), expansive negative (15.05%), (4.92%), (SND) (18.65%). (2) Average grain product per have highest relative importance play greatest role determining type modes. A concomitant phenomenon noted modes; that is, SD occurs decoupling, occur SND same conditions. (3) significant exists relationship, indicating correspond four different stages relationship. could provide some decision-making guidance development, so improve differentiated management regional response strategies.
